The Fund Supports a Paid Family Leave Program

The Fund for Women and Girls board proudly announces we stand in support of a Pennsylvania Paid Family Leave Program. In our role as a partner and leader striving to ensure that women and girls have the resources and opportunities to thrive, we recognize that women provide the majority of family care and often face financial hardships in doing so. A Paid Family Leave Program will:

• Bring us one step closer to economic equity and ensuring that caregivers and birthing people have the resources and opportunities to thrive.

• Apply to employees or family members of employees with serious medical conditions. 

• Support survivors of certain types of violence. Women and girls affected by gender-based violence will be supported by this potential program.
