The Fund for Women and Girls is proud to serve as the Pennsylvania state partner for Vote16USA, a national organization working to expand youth civic engagement by allowing 16- and 17-year-olds to vote in school board elections.
As the Pennsylvania state seat, The Fund helps lead and coordinate Vote16USA’s efforts across the Commonwealth, connecting local advocacy to a growing national movement focused on strengthening democracy through early civic participation. This partnership supports education, coalition-building, and advocacy efforts that elevate youth voices in decisions that directly impact their schools and communities.
Vote16USA works nationally with organizations, advocates, and young people to advance policies that increase civic participation at the local level. You can learn more about Vote16USA’s national work by visiting https://vote16usa.org/.
Through our Vote16PA initiative, The Fund is excited to collaborate with organizations throughout Pennsylvania to build momentum, share resources, and support collective advocacy efforts aimed at expanding youth engagement in school board elections.
Together, we are working to strengthen local democracy by ensuring young people have a voice in the decisions that shape their education and future.
