Supreme Court Excludes Planned Parenthood

The U.S. Supreme Court has allowed South Carolina to exclude Planned Parenthood from its Medicaid program, despite federal law already barring Medicaid funds from being used for abortions. This decision could pave the way for other states to restrict access to critical reproductive and preventive care for low-income patients. The Fund for Women and Girls strongly opposes this ruling—reproductive healthcare is healthcare.
