FAMILY CARE ACT
For nearly two years, The Fund, our volunteers, and community members have been championing The Family Care Act alongside Children's First, Maternity Care Coalition,
and the Family Care Coalition.
The bill’s prime sponsors, Rep O’Mara in the House and Senators Robinson and Collett in the Senate have worked tirelessly to get the Family Care Act passed.
What happens next?
Now that it has passed out of committee, Senate leadership can call the bill for a vote on the Senate floor.
If the bill passes the Senate, lawmakers will still need to reconcile differences between the Senate and House versions before a final bill can be sent to the Governor for signature.

Help us advocate for the Senate to pass the Family Care Act!
We need as many people as possible to reach out to Senate to let them know that

Lather, Rinse, Repeat ... you can and should continue to call, email, and meet with legislators. If they are not hearing from you, they are hearing from people (often paid lobbyist) who oppose what we support. We have to make our voices heard!
