YoungMoms
2026 Grantee
YoungMoms was awarded a General Partner Grant in support of their work to equip pregnant and parenting young women with the support, resources, and skills needed to overcome obstacles, minimize social inequities, and build a strong foundation for their families. Their clients face a myriad of obstacles to completing their high school education, accessing transportation and balancing parenting and adolescence. Many have immigrated from Central America and come from backgrounds of trauma and poverty. They often do not speak Spanish or English proficiently and have only completed the first few years of their elementary education.
Over the past 15 years, YoungMoms has empowered more than 300 pregnant and parenting young mothers to stay in school, pursue vocational training, parent more confidently, and make healthy personal decisions.
