Open Hearth

Open Hearth received a General Partner Grant to help fund their programs designed to support and empower people to end the cycle of homelessness, acquire affordable housing, a means of transportation, workforce opportunities, and achieve financial stability.  In the United States, women are 35% more likely to be poor than men and children consistently experience the highest poverty rates of any age group.  Of the issues identified in our listening sessions with women around the county, affordable housing and accessible transportation were among the top three challenges.
